Most of the time you should still get the rebate off whatever price you negotiated--at least that is what my dealer told me even with the trade in deal I made.
I mean "from dealer stock" is a nearly useless term. If you ordered it with no rebates (which you likely did) and when it comes in there are $500, then you can pick between no rebates and $500.
