Takes awhile to turn over 03 6.0

Sorta newbie question, my truck will start up but when it does it takes awhile for it to go. I recently changed out my fuel filters and I when I did all the pre starts as in on for 3 on off 15. It started up rather quickly like was almost brand new to an extent. Just trying to get a better understanding of what can to do ease the problem or completely get rid of the issue.

Thank you

Uhm. So it cranks fast then? Batteries fully charged? Any way to see voltage or monitor any other parameters like ICP/IPR?

I'm just a little confused. Does it long crank and then run or just sputter?

Like JMoen7 says keep those batteries charged or you are asking for more problems.
Sounds like you still have air in system
Did you use OEM filters.

You really need a scan gauge, dash boss, forcsan or something to read gauges.

Is this the first time you changed the filters yourself?

Sometimes the
"O" ring on the caps gets twisted. If you did not use OEM filters it my not be pressing on the valve inside the secondary filter on the engine to let enough fuel in or out? Without a set of gauges it's really hard to tell much more. I would reinstall both filters and be sure to lube "O" ring.

JoshuaBow. If that doesn't do it. Come back but you really need a way for us to tell what all is going on like scan gauge ,dash boss ,or forscan. Or toquepro
