Hello, I'm in the process of changing the solenoids in my trans because I've had the cold soak shift flare for a while now. But I was curious if someone can tell me if the amount of metallic material on my pan magnet looks like too much? My truck has 45,000 miles on it and has a build date of 04/10. Thanks in advance!
If anyone else with a 2011 with this solenoid problem tries to change them yourself check them carefully when you take them out of the boxes. I got my three new ones from the dealer today and one of them was boxed incorrectly I'm pretty sure. It was marked with a 5 on the side of the solenoid and the part nurmber on the box calls for a 2. I have a new one coming tomorrow, we'll see..
