A friend is rebuilding an AT545 for installation in a truck. After assembly the transmission moves the truck backwards in all forward gear selections and no movement in reverse. Can anyone direct me on repairing this? I hope it is a simple fix.

I started a new thread for you. I'm sure there is a simple fix for the trans but I would bet it requires a teardown and correct reassembly.

This one might make the history books, as it is not listed here as a common issue:

@lauxg hasn't logged into this forum in three years, and this is a nine-year-old thread; asking them to email you is kinda off, too; that's just not done, from a public forum. In general, when it comes for forums, there's no private tech support. The whole point of a forum is to share our knowledge, and if you hide your journey behind email or PMs it helps nobody else.

Have you tried to PM? You're more likely to get a response from a PM than an "email me" request.
