4" Skyjacker - front shaft experiences?

Just installed the 4" Lift after swapping the floppy d44 to a hp d60. The lift was purchased for a 1990 f350. Front shaft is close to crossmember and I think it may impact at front droop. Anyone else have this issue? Thinking about goin with a double cardan setup to move the bend in the shaft closer to the front clearing the crossmember.
I will post some pics tonight after work.

I had to notch my x member when I swapped my d60 in, the lift stayed the same....not sure the exact reason why, I never looked into it very hard but I think it's possible that the d60 has a longer pinion which results in less overall length and a steeper dshaft angle.

I cut a "u" about half way through the crossmember and gusseted the bottom to connect the part I cut out.

Make sure you have fresh engine and tranny mounts as well, saggy mounts will make it worse.

I was also thinking about a notch as it is cheaper than a cardan shaft by a couple bucks. Fresh trans mount but I have'nt really looked at the motor mounts, only 35,000miles on it, should be good I think.

The angle isn't extreme, so a Cardan is completely unnecessary. You could also fab a low profile x member out of tubing across the bottom of the frame, but notching the factory frame is easy enough that it's a misewell.
