I've also changed to those bulbs. Color output is a little better than plain halogen but still obviously incandescent. Unfortunately I think the brightness is the same or slightly less than fresh halogen bulbs. That said, I think they are a worthwhile upgrade (I'd do it again) and better than most HID conversions, though not as good as a real/proper projection HID setup and nowhere near as good as the trucklite LED sealed beam retrofits (which don't work on our trucks).
