Pretty much a nothing day, Wanted to go out on the boat this morning but it rained and squashed that idea and now it's raining again. So me and little man watched Gas Monkey garage and took a little nap in the recliner together. Always up for some father/ son snuggle time.

Cheif or Axel, Could one of you guys please take a pic of the carb air cleaner bolt? My carbs do not have a bolt, and the universal I bought did not work as it was too small. I just need to see if its straight or s curved, and if you could give me the thread and size?

I need a bolt, then Ill get the air cleaner and shes driving

Had to get new points and a condensor today. Tomorrow maybe itll actually start. Taking driveshaft to get lengthened a whole 2 inches lol

I know exactly what you mean. If our finances were fully in order I be in the Caribbean, but it is going to take a year to get everything paid off.

Definitly. Fortunatley the only bills I have right now that I owe are tool man bills, and if I had to they would be paid tomorrow.

I know, maybe he will see this when hes back.

But then again, Im thinking about a dress up kit. Summit has one, 80 bucks, and comes with the bolt......and air cleaner, and valve covers, and new breathers.....since both mine are gone for the 351

Just found the post, have to go to Ft Benning tomorrow but can post a pick tomorrow afternoon.

We go to this out of the way boat ramp to drop into the lake, Up walks a guy I have served with in the National Guard and had not seen in probably 10 years. You never know where you are going to run into someone you know. Had a good time and the boat ran great with no issues, glad to finally know the thing is reliable again.

okay thanks. Im bringing the driveshaft home tomorrow. $173 to have him lengthen 3.5 inches, and rebuild/replace the joints/yolks. Not too bad. Have to return the alternator I bought and buy a new one that fits. ****ING BULL****
