She is use to it, I would come home pretty dirty and smelly when I ran the maintenance shop in Albany. Good thing is Yancey has company provided uniforms, I won't have to figure out what to wear and the uniform company will wash and return them.

That helps alot. When I was at j.b. hunt I would always change at work and wear a clean uniform home for the next day.

Thanks Bob,
Yes it is a good fit but I can't seem to get away from big heavy diesel trucks.

The shop I will be working in tears the equipment all the way down to the frame and they do a complete rebuild from the ground up. It's heavy and dirty work but looks like it might be exciting.

Back to Reality

Back from Vacation in VA. I hope everyone had a good 4th. I am all but recovered from sunburns. In other news, my engine build is done and they are going to ship it to me any day now. Trannys done too so I will be heading to atl at some point. The goal is so the truck can drive any where with no problem.

@Hugh. I might hit up Johnson's this weekend if the wife will let me. Hows your truck projects going?

Yancey called at lunch and wanted me to do a physical and drug test, I knocked that out and then came home and signed some forms. So I am well on my way to starting the job, Looks like my first day will be 22 August, they want me to be completely done with the Army before I start there. I am getting excited and a huge relief!!

Still getting paid by the Army and I can do a little bit of stuff around the homestead before I have a real job again.

Another sad day for the people that put their lives on the line everyday to keep peace.
Hillary is caught lying thru her teeth and given a free ride from prosecution, If it would have been me doing that I would be in jail. They are going to let openly transgender people serve in the military, no comment. I apologized to my son that our world is slowly going down the toilet.

I mowed grass, weeded the flower bed. Trying to get some yard work done so we can either hang out by the pool or maybe take the boat out this weekend.

I slowly doing bodywork now. Hydro boost upgrade done, Electric cruise installed but not functional yet, think I have a bad VSS on the transmission. After Lexie mentioned moving to the Caribbean slowed down on the truck till we get back from PR in Sept.

My daughter traded her mustang for a Dodge 1500 crew cab 4x4 yesterday, I think she is nuts but she loves her new to her truck so I guess that's all that really matters. Rain on and off all weekend so I got nothing done outside, I wanted to wash and wax the Lightning.

We had wind damage. Saturday the wind broke a couple big branches out of our China berry tree. Spent yesterday loading it on the truck to go to the dump. Late yesterday it made a pretzel out of the party tent I was using for a paint booth. I think the fabric is still good. Trip to home depot for either conduit, pvc or black iron for new frame pieces

We are lucky because we have a ton of trees around the house so it keeps us pretty much shielded from the wind. 90 percent of the time the strong wind comes from the west or north west.
