Who from FTE is going ? They need to have some shade .

 

Think I'm going to drive down for Saturday.

 

I am going to go down Sat also not driving the truck just going to walk up and down and see what is there. Hope they have more of a turn out than last year. Maybe we can meet have a safe trip.

 

How was the turn out & weather? Sure wish I could have got down there.

 

No rain and a couple trucks . It was warm but then this is July a lot of good people were there and I would say about 30 maybe couple more trucks. I can't say anything bad about it since I have nothing to do with it but Reggie and wife do a good job it is not easy getting things together so maybe I will get more involved and try to help out if they want. I would like to see a bunch of trucks in the lot. A couple trucks from Nebraska close to Harriers Alma mater . There was a beautiful f-1 series coe from Carthage Mo . One panel was in attendance.

 

Thanks for the update. Gotta get the attendance and trucks up. I'd hate to see it be dropped. Did you take pictures?

 

No pictures as I still have a bunch in the camera for the Nats. I don't think it will be dropped at least I hope not we all have to get involved at least let others know about it. Wish you could of made it.

Last time I went there were trucks from Texas, California and Canada. Seemed like they would have a swap meet too but I was told they frowned on trades or swaps at the event.

 

Without a swap meet I couldn't justify driving the 180 miles to go, aside from that it was already done when I noticed this.

 

I have never thought of a swap meet but I would think that that would help the turn out. I would think that Reggie is open to ideas to help this along. The guy that I bought my current truck from Terry's F-100's used to come down that is how I met him he might like the swap meet thing I do know that it takes more room but we all want the same thing so who knows I know of a few trucks in the area that did not come. Maybe we all can sort of get together on F T E and see what the Missouri boys can do.

 

The weather as of Thursday night Friday morning was calling for 90% chance of thunderstorms all day Saturday.

Saturday dawned with light wispy clouds and it never mustered enough to block the sun. They can't predict weather 24 hrs out but are quite sure we are all going to burn up from global warming or global cooling or whatever.

There were at least 30 trucks registered.

Good times! I love coming up here for this show and both kids are now big enough so we can swap some paint on the go-karts.

 

Pretty sure Reggie would be alright with the swap meet. Id love to help but can't commit to much of anything with the wife getting her treatments.
Might be able to get some of the venders to come?
