Cab Swap - Wiring Insight Req'd

Hey FTE!

I purchased a 2006 F350 Harley Davidson cab which housed a 6.0L and Im wondering if anyone can shed some insight on the potential of using the body harnesses from the 6.0 and house the 7.3.

Reason for asking is my new cab has a sunroof and many other options and would be nice to add in these extras. Is it a matter of just repining the pcm connector for the 7.3 ecu?

From my research, you need the harness from the 7.3 cab.

There are WAY more... seriously WAY more wiring differences in the 2006 than "just repining the PCM connector for the 7.3L ECU".

The differences aren't just in the wires, the wiring routing, or the PCM/ECU. There are different body control modules, different task distribution between those new modules, a different vehicle network topology, and a different multiplexed vehicle communications network protocol.

Enough time and money will make anything work, but no, it is not just a matter of repining a PCM connector. Not in the least.
