Anyone have a way of keeping cats off vehicles? I keep my truck spotless, and nothing pisses me off worse than coming out and finding paw prints all over my hood. Not to mention the fine scratches on the edge of hood. I know the obvious solution, and believe me, it crosses my mind every time I come out to find the tracks on my hood, so no need mentioning that. The bad thing is, I don't know if this is my wife/kids cat or a neighbors. I've never seen our cat on a vehicle. If I new for sure it was ours, it would get relocated.
In the middle ages, The bubonic plague was spread by rats, because cats where suddenly labeled as "satanic", and killed by all the fanatic morons.. Who then, most of which, later died from the plague themselves.. lol
BTW, we share 90% of our genes with cats, only 82% with dogs ;o)
Have a dog, the cat rules the roost! I've actually got a 28'x28' garage, but don't have doors on it yet, and it's full of building materials for my house that I'm never going to get finished remodeling. Maybe this will give me some motivation to get it finished. I was just hoping someone had one of those old tricks like dryer sheets or moth ***** for mice. And I obviously don't want to kill the cat, or I would not be asking for a trick to keep them off.
Now that's the kind of idea I'm looking for. Should you just sprinkle it on the driveway around the vehicle, or put some on a rag under the hood(odor may be to strong for this?). Also, we definitely have coyotes around, and I have a chicken coop about 75 yards from the garage, will this draw coyotes in? A neighbor just shot a rather large one about a month ago that got one of his calves down in the daytime.
