fuel pump

hi any info on installing a fuel pump pushrod
in a 1950 8BA flathead.

There is literally nothing to do other than dropping the pushrod down into the hole. What is your specific concern?

thanks I thought there might be something other than just the install.
I'm a beginner at doing a rebuild of this truck, when I got the truck the pump was missing.
just want to make sure.
