need help choosing tires

man, I have been looking at some posts. yalls trucks are very good looking. one day mine will be all fixed up and ill give her a paint job.... one thing at a time...

So! I need help choosing tires.
I am a landscaper, I drive on the road ALOT, but i sometimes have to go off road to get to areas to pull things out, or to load up... etc...

winters are mildish in asheville proper, snows a few times. but, i like to go into the mountains and there can be a good amount of snow.

i know im asking for alot, but, what brand/kind of tires do you suggest??

I've always heard good things and have had good experience with BFG all terrain tires. They are a little pricy though, but they work well for my needs. I drive mainly highway, but occasionally do some four wheeling.

Toyos, open country AT are aggressive and quite on the road expect it to last 50k that's how long they last in the fleet.

I just put a set of bfg at ko's on my truck. 285 75 16 rubbed just a tad on the corners. So I spaced the front bumper out about 3/4 of and inch. Problem solved and the tires are super quite on the road.

Not sure if it is applicable to you, but I really love my Michelin LTX M/S and LTX M/S2. Unfortunately, I don't really have much of any experience with them outside of fair weather driving on the freeway; I got and use my trucks for towing.

Firestone Destination working good on my Taco, lots of traction in snow and quiet on the road. Warranty for 45k miles.

I used to only get Michelin but they be getting costly but never had an issue with one cept for the FWD Sienna van would eat tires on the front.

I have used Dunlop, Good Year, BFG, Cooper, and toyo with good results. Funny part is some use the same factory, manufacturing machines, material and design.

buy what you like the looks of and see if it fits your needs for wear, warranty and traction. lots of people here will persuade you to their liking but some here know from real usage and experience that is up to you to decide.
