New to the forum and having difficulty searching for my answer, so if this is a dup sorry. I have a 2004 F350 newly purchased used and the seats are tore up in the drivers side. I want to replace the seat, so what years and models will accomodate what I have? Also, could I put power seats in and hook up to the fuse box? Thanks, Garber38.
All seats are compatible basically. The biggest difference is the location of the seatbelt anchor. Some are built into the seat, others are located in the C pillar. Power seats can be added. It will just take running the wires to power. Some trucks already have the harness there, all you have to do is plug it in or switch connectors. Other trucks will need power run to the seats. Search build threads for the info or use Google search. Good luck!
Consider recovering? There are a couple places that make new factory style seat covers for these trucks. I forget the name but if you search the forum you will find them and they are pretty reasonable I think. I'm talking the professional kind that you remove the factory covering and replace with new, not the 20$ special from walmart
