So my buddy got some leather seats out of a Lariet for his 99 F-350. Everything bolted up perfectly. EXCEPT we have no way to move the seat. Since his last seat wasnt power we dont know how to get power. We plugged the seat back in, but im assuming thats just for the seatbelt light. We checked the fuse where the power seat is and its in there. So now hes riding with all leather and a cloth seat. LOL!!! Anyone got any ideas? We also tried switching the mounting brackets on the seats and they were 1" different. Also tried switching the leather skins, but found out the seats are TOTALLY different. Thanks guys.

Feel around under the carpet, along the driver's side seat brackets. There should be a pig tail under there for the power. They may have it tucked it under the door sill. It may require some adapting, but it should be there some place.

 

Did they wire all the trucks for power then just use them when needed??

 

In most cases there are connections there. The harness for a CC would be different from a regular cab of course. If the connections arent there....it's not hard to tap them. He stated that the fuse for the power seats was there....that indicates that at least part of it is there.
