2000 F250 intermittent power loss
2000 f250 7.3/automatic Crew cab XLT Super Duty 346*** miles
I have several codes and have tried several things to get this going correctly
codes are 0112 0113 0266 0264 0562 0732 0733 0781 1212 1670.
I have:
pull tank cleaned screens
pull pump on frame rail has correct pressure( no obstruction in lines)
changed icp
changed peddle switch
rebuilt fuel pressure reg on side of fuel bowl
cleaned fuel bowl
disconnected waste gate but have reconnected(no difference)
turbo is tight no loss because of bad connections
It will:
start fine no issues with that.
1 idea rough at times
2idle will change from 800 t0 1200 back to 800 within 5 sec in random intervals. then may not even do it at all
3 run well on 1 acceleration but not the next
4if it has lack of power and I let out of peddle back to whatever rpm it will allow for the speed I am traveling most times it will gain power back , run like it should but NOT always and I have to repeat until it gains power back. grades seem to even be worse on loss of power. loss so bad I have to pull over to keep from getting run over.
NONE of these 4 things are temp related. cold start or operating temp ... it is always the same. IF this is a high dollar fix it is for sale to highest bidder LOL
thnx

It sounds like a loose connector on the UVCH or a chaffed wire grounding on the engine. Get under the hood and wiggle some wires while it is running and see if you can get it to stumble.
Monday morning quarterbacking at this point, but while you had the tank down to clean the screens, you should have done away with them all together. The Hutch and Harpoon mods are well worth it when you are dropping the tank.
How have you determined that you have good fuel pressure, and did you check it at idle or under load?

I "harpoon" the tank also moved the inlet over a few in with my own version of an extension away from the overflow outlet but I liked the idea of the filters so I left them..
I have wiggled EVERTHING... haha so that idea is out the window. pressure was tested at idle. I am not that much ion love with this truck to do the valve covers. I may be a PO before that happens!!

Good eye RYK. I am not one to drive a ford 500k plus as I see some of you. getting that many miles on ANYTHING is good in my book.. I have just found an outlet for these cheep so I figure I can make some coin with them. I have been drivin this truck daily and my service truck is a 5.4 at the moment.. with that said I think I maybe doing some thread searching here.
thnx for the "welcome to the site"
