2X Gary. Welcome to FTE and the Bumpside Forum.
Real nice rig. Did the PO give you a list of parts put on it? Like it looks like it's got a rear end out of a (73-79) Dentside under it.
I do not have a list. I bought it from a dealership down the road who had it sitting on the lot for quite a while. I kept driving by it and watching the price drop lower and lower until I couldn't drive by anymore lol. It has a few dings and needs a new rear bumper new interior overhead. The parking break doesn't work so I'll be tending to that first though.
You said you think part of the rear end is taken from a later model?

Yes. The rear ends under the Dentsides were wider than the Bumpside's rear end. The dent's rear end puts the front and rear wheels at the same width. Could also be the rear wheels you have under those wheel covers are deep dish wheels.
According to the vin I think it's a 360 built in San Jose, California. The guy at the dealer said the previous owner put the 390 in it but I'm not positive how to verify that. It's loud and fun to drive and that's good enough for me right now.
Thanks for all the advice I'll add pics as I fix the very few issues I have. I definitely like the dish rims and although it wouldn't have been my choice for color, I'm pretty sure the previous owner opted for the original color while he was fixing it up, so it's definitely growing on me.
Only numbers I found on it so far... Not sure if that's an indicator that it's a 390, or just a coincidence.
