Does anyone have a diagram on a 76' f100 steering column? Mine is broke some where between the shifter and the linkage on the engine side of the firewall.
Rather than try to find the parts to fix yours, you might want to just get another column from the scrap yard and replace it. The scrap yard probably won't charge any more for the whole column than the parts.

But honestly, what are the chances of finding a column in the scrapyard that is good enough to waste your time swapping in?
I just purchased a whole steering column assembley, the wheel with shifter assembly and linkage, wiring harness all the way down to the rag joint for $40 dollars from a scrap yard and it works perfectly...they are out there so check before you buy the parts. Its also the easiest thing I have installed on my truck yet.
Ditto what Henry the Ford said. GREAT deals are to be found on parts in excellent condition at many boneyards up here in Cleveland. I think a lot depends on location because of "regulations" in different states. I was in Penna a while back and the parts store folk told me that there couldn't be more than 3 junkyards in the state any longer due to regulations.
Oh yeah...try this:

Well now I don't have it bookjmarked on this computer here, but the site is called "Jeff's Bronco Graveyard" if I'm not mistaken. If you do a search, it should show up. Lots of good info there.
