I have a 1978 F150 4x4 that I am doing an off frame restoration on. Im putting new bushing, springs and shocks on and here is were my issue arose. When I got the radius arms bolted to the axle and the bracket (on the frame) I noticed that the coil spring seat is leaning forward quite a bit so that the seat and bucket are not in line. Is there a very specific way to bolt these on? Thanks for looking and for your help.

Reason: Punctuation
I'm looking at mine, 77-F150 4x4 1/2ton,
Are ur radious arms bolted up,? Axle C-clamps bolted up w/new bushings,? The top of the radious may have an issue u need to look at also ck bottom of spring supports can't remember if there directional, meaning left & right,
Do you have pics of the problem,?
I'd post a pic of mine but computer stupid......

The only thing the original shop manual states is to make sure the bottom of the spring support needs to be turned so that most of the overhang is to the outside of the truck. The other was to tighten down the radius arm to the axle housing in a diagonal pattern a little at a time. As far as I know the arms are not side specific.
The spring seat itself is probably bent/sagging. Common problem on these trucks. I know wildhorses broncos offer an HD version. Or you can fab your own like I am.
