I have stock 15X7 chrome wheels with '55 Ford center caps on my '84 F-150 2WD. Tires are Dayton Timberline 30X9.50 R-15..I found some new wheels, but the nearest size available is 16X8. Obviously I would need new tires.."The Daytons have 3,000 miles..but are 7 years old...Would the 16X8 wheels be a problem ?..thanks..jv..
Backspacing is not a problem..So, if the new tires are about 30 inches, I should be OK..I don't care about the speedo. Hell, I never drive over 50 anyway!!
