^^ That's what I did, no charge. Because they hadn't done it before, and I had no printer, I stood there holding my computer and scrolling through the directions while they did it. That's how I know it takes less than 5 minutes.

Went to another dealer this morning. They have one hour minimum charge which they agreed to. 105 bucks cheaper than the dealer I bought the truck from. Guess my selling dealer just lost a customer. Might as well give this dealer my warranty work as well.

And considering that I had to show the sa and service manager what I wanted and how to do it. This is apparently a new one for them. Maybe I should charge them a consulting fee? Lol

That's crazy $$$. Went to my dealer today to do the same. No charge and it took less than 5 minutes to do it.
I literally sat with the tech when he did it.

Very nice that you have a dealer like that. Not everyone is that lucky. One other thing that I didn't mention is that they are also changing the tripping points for my TPMS so that I can lower the tire pressures when running empty.

That's a good thing to have done too Mike. I had the same done with my TPMS when it was new. I'm hoping the same can be done with the 17's for next time around...

That brings back a memory !
When I asked my last dealer to do that I found when I got home their solution was to just pump up my 8 ply tires to 80psi! Service manager got an ear full

I put it on the service request to drop the tripping points to 50 psi and yes, it's in English. Lol

% ranges

Had mine done today along with the latest pcm update.

Question I have...I had just gone through a regen a few miles prior, so my soot level was really low. After the update I was at 30% on the new screen. I drove for about 50 miles and it was still at 30%. A few miles later it went to 35%.

It seems the lowest reading I will see is ~30%. I've seen a few people post their regen stops around 30% so that supports this, however I've also seen some people get down to 0%.

What would be the differences in the trucks that get down to around 30% as the lowest vs 0%?

Khena....normal reading for most is 30% after regen....sometimes you might see 25%...
