There is a trim company that will emboss the lightnin and gear. I have seen the design cut out of old seat covers and sewn on to new ones.
I can't say forsure for other years but my 66 base model truck had the original seat cover and it does not have the gear and lightning bolt in the seat. The vinyl is made to look like wicker though.
