Turbo question

OK heres the delema, I'm getting an awsome deal on a brand new Borg warner S300SX3 turbo from a local diesel shop. He originally bought it for his 12v Cummins but decided to do compounds.

My question is can this be installed with out to much fab work on our trucks? Would it be worth the $500 he is selling it to me? Or should I skip and go with a different turbo? I still got to get my engine put together (waiting on some goodies)

Any input would be great.

66 mm .91 A/R.

If it was for a Cummins, it is probably an open flow turbine inlet. You will want the twin flow turbine inlet.

OK gave it a shot and called him, he said it had the split t4 inlet, reason being he went with compounds.

Check irate. You can purchase the mount stuff without a complete kit if you want to do some fab and save some cash.
Or build your own mount etc.

You won't be using much of the oe stuff tho.

500$ for a an older non sxe366 is an ok deal. NOT giving it away imo.
