Do all the suspension stuff before the tires. Especially if you're already getting abnormal wear, why chew up a brand new set? Tires won't be warrantied for wear due to failing suspension components.
If it needs work, it needs work. But it's either spend a lump sum now and get it all done OR spend in smaller chunks that could potentially cause wear and such on recently spent chunks. For example, tired before ball joints and you wear a brand new set of $1500 tires out in 20k miles...

I totally agree with what your saying. Trucks at the shop for the day right now. They are going to check alignment and verify if anything needs replaced then I'm just going to put KO2 on it 285/75/16. Just call it a day and I'll order rear sway bar tonight and do that myself. Otherwise if it's in need of ball joints which it probably does the shop will call me today.

Sounds like a plan. There's always the option of piecing together a small lift with Super Duty springs as funds allow. Only reason I did mine in one go was tax return a few years ago.

Yea wife and I trying to stick to our original plan pay off debt and what's left we play with. Trying to buy a house in a couple years when I get closer to my Military retirement so can't really spend $2000 or more right this moment. Like you said piece it together and we should be okay.
