Is there a list or spreadsheet or anything out there containing all the "need to know" gauges on TP for the 6.0?
I know that TP has a fair amount of Ford specific gauges but are they accurate or do the gauges need adjusted to give us useful information?
I've been looking around this morning but I can't find much more than pictures of the gauge setups that people have. I am looking at getting into a 6.0 so I have been trying to get prepared for looking at trucks.
I have been perusing through Tech folder information as far as gauges and what to be looking for. I have been looking/lusting after a nice KR for a while now.....
The links for the Torque Pro are good, I had been through the first thread before, but hadn't seen the second one. It sounds like most of the gauges for the 6.0 work coming from the extended PID list. Is that correct?

Thanks again!

Yes, that is correct. Also Scott (Diesel Dan is his truck) has provided a couple custom ones he found. VREF and ICPv.

And: hey, Hey, HEY: Delta Temp As well (tho I didn't come up with it)
I know that Trans Temp we use to have to go edit the PID on and change the ODB Header to TCM, or it would actually be Coolant Temp (for some reason). I used Trans Fluid Temp (Method 2) -- so don't know if there is a better one to choose from by now...
Hey Torr: Post up a pic of your main screen from way back -- that was awesome!

Haha! Yes it was. That was 3 phones ago. Here's the current screen while idling hot. Let me know if you see anything weird please.
OK, if that is really up at temp, you should start watching the coolant and it really should be stable over 190, or it is time for a new thermostat...
Well heck, Torr, you did ask...
I did ask and I was serious. This will be the third new OEM thermostat in 15,000 miles. None of them want to stay above 190° except when driving in hot weather. The last few days have been in the upper 80s low 90s. If I do the actual delta test procedure called for, it will be above 190° and oil temp will be within 3-5 degrees, but as soon as you get your foot out of it, the coolant temp drops to the mid 180s. I have a CTS2 showing up this week and I will hook up the EGT as well as 2 pressure sensors for boost and coolant pressure. I need to get this figured out before I turn the wick up.
My coolant temp is like that as well. Almost always between 186 and 190 unless i'm pulling a trailer. I've gone through 3 thermostats too (Motorcraft).
