Auto Tranny

New to me: just purchased 1 owner 99' F250 Lariat Crew Cab Super Duty 4x4(Floor Shifter) V-10 Automatic. I love it. Does it have the E4OD or a later model transmission? I noticed it shifts out of each gear at 2000-2500 rpms; I was wondering if it had an adjustment to shift earlier than this. I know I am used to my old 1990 F350 4x4 460 v8 that shifts out very quickly to the next gear, it has 4.10 gears and the 99 has 3.73. Thanks for any info.

It is a 4R100 which is an updated model of the E4OD.

It does! You adjust the RPM of the shifts by not pressing the go pedal as far down. The lighter you are on the pedal the lower the RPM the shifts will occur.
