Yes. Should have said. It's a separate switch. The fold toggle you just pull and release.
I really don't use them much as it's not my DD, and I don't have a garage to park it in. Mainly when I tow the travel trailer. Plastic gears though Ford!?
no news yet... sitting at the dealer.. they recreated the trans slow engage issue and have to pull the tranny to replace the front pump..
trying to get them to recreate the mirror problem, take the pics and get it approved and mirror ordered if not one in stock.. I need my truck back..
(altho I have an 2016 F150 as the warranty rental, feels like 1/2 a truck compared to the dually!)
Yep, Ford requires the dealers to take 5 pictures from various angles. ANY signs of impact or damaged to the outside housing and they are not covered. I had both of mine replaced within the 4 years I owned my 2011 F250. SUCH A HEADACHE. Hopefully you don't have any issues. If you do, Autonation.com appears to have the best prices for them. Remember, there are several models of mirrors and even some that are identical to others but with different part numbers. This alone can make the price vary from $600-$900 for the mirror. I believe the dealerships have part numbers for wholesale pricing or something.
trans first.. (finish tuesday),, then trim shop will attempt a relearn
to resynch the mirrors.. if this fails, then take pics, and get approval.
mirror is in stock, so no waiting..
said they started on trans cause trim shop was 3 day wait, and trans was not
Sounds more like government order of operations Sam. That is frustrating. At least they are getting it done for you. You'll be up and running in time for the G2G...
I had hoped to replace the front shocks yesterday/today to see if it resolved the bounce problem.. otherwise the tires are going.. running out of time!
Run Forest, RUN! We gots ourselves a G2G in two weeks!
tell me about it!.. I gotta get the new front shocks on, test the bounce, maybe replace the front tires, load the trailer (while in storage, pisses me off), man its busy...oh, and I work (every day! grrr)
while I am remodeling the kitchen in the new house.. one more upper cabinet to finish.. over the microwave over the stove..
