That's a RHD 57-8-9 F100 dash, cut n shut down the middle (where the radio would have been). A 59 Pontiac gauge cluster (converted to electronic Km/h speedo, etc) feels right at home. Underfloor brakes and battery leave a clean firewall. Aussie Holden (GMH) collapsible column with column shift is a requirement for road legality.
Great work with the dash! I guess you could call it a Fordiac dash!
Thanks for the kind words!
I'm not too brand-aligned.....I'm just more able to get my hands on cool stuff from across the world in this internet world. I had to do a RHD conversion, and spent many nights on the web when I lived in Tokyo for a few years, looking for a gauge cluster that was about the right shape and size.....then a kind HAMBer sent it to me in Japan.....from which it came home with me in my suitcase next to all of my Mooneyes stuff
My chassis has a Holden IFS graft (think Camaro) - if I'd put in a chev motor, I might have been done years ago, but I live in Victoria, home of Australia's Ford production (until it shuts next year) and there was no other motor for me than a 351 Cleveland.
Hopefully, with the dress up I've given it, it at least looks like 1962 possible?????
