New HIGHBOY!
Guy I know turned me onto this truck today, was sitting at a bodyshop fo 3/4 years! The longtime owner wanted to restore it, had them start on it but couldn't swing it...Has rust in the floors and hood, but is pretty darn straight and solid otherwise!

That's about all I know. The bodyshop owner ended up buying it off the guy, then he got into a "house cleaning" mood! I made an offer and bought it . Ran good when parked, lower mile engine was dropped in a while back.

Well that is an FE engine, most likely a 360. Is it automatic or manual transmission?

The original 360 is in the bed, no good. The engine in the truck is said to be a 390 4bbl and ran good when parked. Trans is a 4 speed.

Check the stroke on that engine, 352s and 360s can MAGICALLY turn into 390s when they are sold.

Oh I know how the magic works . This guy seemed really honest and wasn't trying to hide anything, I will check though.
