Goodbye old friend

Today's a difficult day for me, as I never thought this day would come. I finally had to say goodbye to a faithful friend, my very trust old 2006 F-150 that I ordered new 10 years ago with the 5-speed manual. I sold it privately, and ended up taking far less for it than what I wanted to, but I knew I couldn't hang onto it anymore. It was going to start becoming a money pit soon, so I think I got out of it at the right time. It's not easy though as I always hoped I'd be able to keep it forever. Right now I just don't have the space for an extra vehicle though, and the cost to insure the third vehicle was prohibitive as well. I've got a lot of good memories with that old truck, and those memories won't fade.
What a hassle it is trying to sell a vehicle privately anymore, too. I'm not sure I'll do this again anytime soon.
I bought a new truck about 2 months ago, a 2012 F-150 4x4, so I've been hangin' out in that forum. The money that I got for the new one I want to put into the new one to dress it up some. So right now I'm looking forward to dressing up the new one, and making memories with my Big Red Beast! I changed my username, some may remember me as Blue 2006 XL.
Attached are pictures of the old and new...

Is your 5-speed truck a 4.2 or 4.6? Just curious.

It had the 4.2 liter V6, which by that time was the only engine available with the 5-speed manual. By 2006, if a buyer wanted the V8 then they had to get the automatic.
