Thanks for the reply Cando. nice pictures! Do you know what the bore size on the master you used? I think I will use a master and booster out of a 80s f350 looks to be close we will see I picked up a core a wrecking and started on the bracket.
Well I need to know if a 1964 f350 firewall should look like, should it be the same as a f100 or f250 or is it different where the brake booster is mounted. here is a pic of mine.
My truck had that booster on it too. I decided to just remove the booster and go with a dual master cylinder instead.
Not too uncommon for a master to sit at an angle. The factory assembly manual for my 1971 Trans Am shows if you have the power disc brake setup how the master is tipped and they cover how far below the top of each reservoir to fill with fluid.
well as an update I have Installed a master and booster from a 85 f350 I made a adapter plate out of 1\4" aluminium put a few extra washers on the bottom bolts to change the angle. the rod was the correct length for one of the holes in the brake peddle. there are two holes and I am not sure which was stock This information may not help but there it is thanks for all the replies.
