Hey guys,
At first the problem would come and go but now they just don't work. My wipers would just not work when I hit the switch, also it happened a few times that they would take a while to turn on after a turned the switch. Now there is nothing. It's weird because the voltage meter drops when I turn them on like it's sending power. Could my motor be a goner? There's a video below that you can see the voltage drop. The wipers are not coming on in it. Let me know how to go about finding the problem, thanks
The magnets inside the wiper motor probly came loose and shifted. That will cause the motor to slow down and as the magnets shift further from proper location, the motor will stop but will still draw current. Try moving the wiper arms and see if the motor tries to start.
Anyway, new wiper motor time is the fix. I tried to reglue the magnets back to the motor case in my 89 F250, but got them wrong and the motor did not run properly.....
