Just wanted to update this thread, I have not forgotten about it however I was busy out of town with work moving an office/warehouse. Unfortunately right before my trip my turbo started making a grinding noise, Now I am in the process of getting that replaced and will continue with this once I have a good turbo. Perhaps this was my problem all along.
Just wanted to report back I finally got the turbo replaced and had the Fuel Pressure Regulator replaced due to a pending code of p228f that I never saw before taking the truck in and the truck seems to be back to operating normally. I also learned the hard way that after market warranties are a waste of money and wont cover anything as I had a GWC Warranty with turbo coverage and they refused to cover the turbo as it hadn't completely failed yet. The shop tried to get them to cover it as they did not want to let the truck leave the shop in fear if the turbo went out it would grenade and take the entire engine out as well. They got nowhere and just lost a couple weeks of time.
Andre the truck is running great again.II am as happy as can be with exception of the large repair bill that i feel should have been covered.owell you gotta pay to play.
