I like many of you have been scouring for weeks and months waiting for final details. So, it appears that the Platinum Collection has somewhat limited color selections compared to the King Ranch specifically blue jeans and Caribou. What would I miss out on with a King Ranch vs a Platinum. I was planning on a fully loaded F450 with pretty much all the bells and whistles.
Platinum and King Ranch are really just themes of the Lariat. King Ranch is a cowboy theme which nets you better leather seats, some slightly different wood trim, and the exterior appearance differences. Platinum is the more refined "urban" theme with again, better leather and different exterior grille, etc. More features are standard on a Platinum or KR but the Lariat can basically be optioned to have all of the available features. Between a KR and Platinum, you'll be missing out on virtually nothing.
Somewhere I thought I saw the Platinum had Multi-Contour Driver/Passenger seats with Active motion (massaging seats) and I didn't remember seeing it on the KR
Are we saying that when Multi-Contour seats are present they include the Active Motion feature by default? I agree that Platinum has MC seats as standard and read they were an option on the King Ranch.
