interior lights

I have a '00 Ford ranger and a '99 f-150 , when leaving the doors open , interior lights go off after 10-15 minutes in the ranger but not on my 150.
Is there a relay or something aftermarket that makes this possible on the 150 ?

As far as I know that timing is controlled by the PCM. Could be your dimmer switch is turning the int. lights on.

Should have a "Battery Saver Relay" in the Central Junction Box (lower left of instrument panel). This relay is controlled by the GEM.
Perhaps your BSR is stuck in the "ON" position.
