Flashing running lights

2006 E450;
Of course, it has daytime running lights. The odd thing is that mine start to flash occasionally. Then, just as mysteriously, they go back to normal. No problem when the lights are on fully.
Is this a tired relay?

Mine did that too. DRL module. Close to $60 on Rockauto.com. Over $85 everywhere else.

I just unplugged mine.

So, Ford couldn't do this with a simple relay? It ain't rocket science, key on, relay closed, lights on, key off, relay open, lights off.
Thanks, I'll just turn on the lights at all times.

Simple relay

I agree about the simple relay: but one small point in Ford's side- the headlights are dimmer (than ON position) when the module works properly.

Here in Canada it is the LAW...I can get as many as I want in the Junkyard for 5 bucks.....Hell my truck is almost 20 years old and that part is flawless....If you want I will get you one for free...just pay shipping...

Shipping would be 10 to 25 bucks....How do you Test it ? I have manuals for my model ....BUT I am strictly Mechanical guy I know how to solder /heatshrink read Diagrams .. diagnosis ..... Not so much .....I need someone to hold my hand.....OR pay them....OR Barter ...that is why I have 4 PCM's and & IDMS for my Diesel..... and I have Like 4 or 5 DuraSpark II deals ,I still have several Distriubitors .... EVEN though My current Stuff is MSD or Accell or Bosch on the 460 .....
