ignition control module change and re-wire
hello, this is my first post. was hoping to get some advice on an electrical problem i'm having. I have a 1984 F-150, 302, automatic. I re-placed the ignition control module, the associated wiring was in such bad shape that I re-placed it also using this kit Painless Performance Products 30812, Painless Ford Car Chassis Harnesses | Painless Performance Products . my problem is that the truck will crank but will not stay running when the key is released back to the on position. from what I've been reading the neutral safety switch could be involved but I really don't know. any thoughts or ideas will be most appreciated.
