Hey guys and non guys! His has probably been asked a lot but will a ts 6pos chip from a 2002 7.3 automatic fit a 95 7.3 manual? I have a feeling not but hopefully yes. If not can I get it re burned or just go with a new chip all together thanks for any input

 

You'll have to get it reburnt The 02 has split shot injectors, the 95 has singles, plus you'll need the trans stuff changed too.

 

Yes it will fit, will it run right no. Your truck has single shots where the SD has split shots and you will get the loppy idle on every start up. You can have it reburn its all up to you.

I bought a chip years ago that had a couple SD tunes on it by mistake and the truck would shut off whenever I went to those settings.

 

Are there any other chips or tuners you guys recommend for the older power strokes?
