No but eec and fuel are both brand new

..and you're definitely sure all the fuses and fusible links are good? It really sounds to be like you have a bad connection somewhere, especially if the check engine light "fades" in.

The check engine light no longer comes on at all even like when you turn the key so and it should come on as a dummy light

You didn't mention whether or not you're 100% sure all the fuses and fusible links are good?

I'd start by pulling the PCM connector, and checking for power with the key on. Pins 1, 37 and 57 should have battery power with the key on.

Fusibles are okay also will do should I test with a basic light or test with a power prob that shows voltage

Having access to a breakout box is a great asset with these early EFI systems.

It was really nice using it the truck is actually at the mechanics he is I guess you could say mentoring me but all the pins that should have power had power so we went ahead and order the computer

You made sure all the pins that should have ground (20,40 and 60) had a good ground connection too, right?

Dang. I doubt it's a computer. I'm with Lead Head on checking ground points first.

Have a look under the relays & check their sockets/wiring.

Thank you all for your help it ended up being the computer in the truck and it now runs I just needs to fix a code 98 and 51 I know what both mean and I can fix 51 but I'm not sure where the electronic pressure control circuit would be
