Had my Gibson headers installed. Also had a new exhaust run with Flowmaster 50 series. Very mellow with a deeper tone. Pretty quiet in the cab which is what I was after. No more exhaust ticking. Not sure about anything with the exhaust mods as I just brought it home. I will post up any results that I do find later. Here are a few pics. It's duels now all the way out. I like the looks of the tips too. That's what I wanted.

What kind of estimate was it for Header installation?

Curious as soon I will be installing my V10 Header's.

$600 for the header install. I pulled the passenger firewall out. Big plastic on mine. As that would have been the hardest side. Looked at it for a few minutes. Decieded the shop install was worth it to me. They said only one bolt was broken causing the leak, that had to be drilled out. But that was one less that I had to deal with. On another note. When I got home I put an ir heat scanner on the headers. The plain stainless was running 240 degrees. Slightly warmer than the motor. I can live with that.

That is a nice setup not sure if I will pay the $600 fee but I'm sure it was worth it. I want the Headers on my V10 just like Bently_Coop so I may look into this.

2008 f350 Lariat shocks,brakes,tint

In 2008 me & my older brother were looking at new trucks...my brother bought a new 2008 f350 Lariat Superduty crew cab...6.4L....in may 2016 my brother past & I bought his truck which had 33k miles on it...I replaced all the brakes, rotors and pads...replaced shocks with ranch rs9000xl 9 way adjustable shocks...tinted the windows...transmission hot flush...all filters changed and oil changed...all U-joints replaced driveline....new navigation and dash cam installed...I'm thinking full delete and H&S tuner for improved fuel economy....not hp...dash lights blink once in awhile...sunroof power button needs replaced and cruise control works periodically...new tires...Michelin 275/65r/20 MS tires...oil changed synthetic...I'm thinking full delete with H/S tuner for improved fuel economy not horse power...also added dual stabilizers....

I was going to do it myself. I pulled the passenger side firewall out. That appeared to be the hardest side. I could see all but the front cylinder and lower bolts of the second cylinder. I am also a big guy. If I couldn't see it. Then I would have a hard time drilling and removing the studs if they broke in any of these positions. At that point I decieded the money for install was worth it to me. Drop off and pick up. Might want to call around and get prices from different places. Up next is 4.10 gears and eaton true trac's. Figured it was time to put some money in this one or buy a new one. Not liking the price tag on a new one with payments. So, putting some coin in this as it is still in great shape bringing it up to speed for what I want.

So how's the low end torque with the xpipe and true duals? I've been wanting to do a xpipe or hpipe on my 2004 5.4.

and oh I cleaned my windows this morning and added rainx again

It defiantly has more low end grunt. Not earth shattering power. But this tank of gas is going to the crapper. I seem to have a much heavier foot enjoying the sound. I am enjoying the Flow master 50 series. Has a low tone grumble to it. Best of all, no drone. It does seem to Rev a little quicker also. It was worth while for me. Might not be for everyone. Thinking of buying a tuner from 5star now. Add to the enhancements.
