What did you do to your Super Duty today?

Ufvj217, you really need to consider something about your idea. Everything needs to be bolted down very well and with very strong latches and hinges. Don't leave those big tool boxes or tools in there. If you find yourself in the same situation as bib, you will not walk away with just some cuts and bruises, you will have major head trauma and broken bones from all the tools flying around in your cab. I have a co worker that changed a flat on his wife's suv, he used the bottle jack that came with the car, and instead of putting it up, he just laid it in the back until he could put the spare back in. She rear ended someone, and the bottle jack hit her in the back of the head. Her skull was fractured and she nearly died. Just imagine the medical cost and time lost from work.
As for me, I put the 2wd front air dam on my truck yesterday. I ripped the bigger 4wd air dam off a while back, but this was something I was planning anyway. Had to take the two safety horns off because they hung down about an inch below the air dam. I had read that they had to be cut off, but it was 8 18mm nuts that were easy to get to.
Now, if nitto would just release those new ridge grapplers in the 285/75r17e. Site says coming soon...

now the new shelf i'm building will be bolted to the seat brackets the same way, and i will have some sort of latch/lock on the hinged lids i will be making in the shelf to access the storage underneath it. on top of that is where i want to put my ridgid boxes that i have like these:
I at a minimum will strap them to something (probably the back of the cab under the back window) so they don't move, but I still am considering pricing out one of those metal see through cab dividers like cop cars have, that way everything stays in the back in the event of an accident. you think that's my best bet? i wouldn't mind having that, i mean it's essentially a work truck, if i have to go somewhere with family/multiple people i have my scion or excursion.
even without that, the front passenger seat is about 1" away from the husky chest, and the other side of the chest is close to the back of the cab, so it's wedged in pretty good, so hopefully that would help keep it in place if it was a bad enough wreck to jar it loose from the bolts.
anyhow, i'm open for ideas, i def want to make it as safe as possible. i've been telling my dad for years to do something in his excursion, pretty much get a divider behind his front seats, because he has the entire back of his excursion from the front seats on back loaded with tools just free sitting all over the place. he's been lucky his whole life, knock on wood, never been in a wreck, and for 30+ years his vans/excursion has been like this...he's getting close to the end of his career though but still i'm still trying to convince him into getting it. i may buy it for him and just install it. i gotta price them out and see who sells them.
edit: damn, here we go right here. https://www.realtruck.com/kargo-mast...004Y743MA.html

I took it for a wash, vacuum and window cleaning. Then brought it home and got the dog platform and barrier back In place. Checked the oil and it's down half a quart which seems ok for 2k miles since the change and 137k on the motor. Lastly, got the back cleaned out and ready for the last of our belongings that are in CO. She's all ready for the road trip back to CO next weekend.

Didn't do all of this today but its been about a week. Fuel filters, speed sensor, turbo back exhaust, new up pipes, some custom tunes installed on the Livewire TS+, S&B intake.

How do you like that intake? I'm wanting one. Did it change any sounds of the motor/exhaust/turbo? Any performance gains (probably hard to tell since you have tunes lol)

I picked my 2001 F250 Lariat with v10 up about a week and a half ago. It has 54K on the clock and I have done the following since then.
New BFGs all the way around.
Rear diff fluid change.
New fuel filter.
New PCV valve.
New Air Filter.
Cleaned MAF sensor.
Installed Ultra Gauge.
Installed new Kenwood radio.
I think I'll drive it for a while now before I do anything else. Runs smooth and strong. Certainly not like a vehicle that's 15 years old. And I it looks pretty damn good too!

Gave my 2003 F350 a little love the last couple of weeks. Gonna be using it more in the next few months. Got my parents AND my MIL coming out this week for a about a week and a half and putting 5 people is more comfortable in the f350 than in the Optima.
I put the topper back on so we have a dry place for luggage when we head up to Winter Park, CO, for a few days.
I had to replace the windshield because the crack progressed to right in front of the steering wheel.
Took it in for a smog test and it passed with flying colors. :-)
I had a clunk underneath the passenger's feet, so I replaced the sway bar end links. That took care of that.
Oh, and when I was test driving it after doing the end links, I kept hearing this click, click, click, like a rock was in the tire. I pulled over and found one in the front tire. Popped it out and went on my way. The clicking continued. When I got home, I checked out the rear tire and, sure enough, there is a nail in it. Gotta get that fixed now. Oh well, at least its paid for.
Now I have to get it ready for a trip out to California in December to pick up a boat. New shocks are on the list next and prolly a set of LED fogs. Need good lights heading across the salt flats at night.
