Hey -- thank you everyone for all the insight and recommendations..
Just would like to clear up some things ..
Yeah, I know she's heavy.. And she's got big shoes on top of everything..
I'm pretty sure she was tuned by whom ever did the mod .. As he/she also did a boost by pass..
I wasn't expecting her to be a rocketship - even with the SC. It's just that, being a professional driver ( heavy trucks, buses and strech limos ) I feel it's just lacking off the line.. It's like this you have to really give it gas to feel it as where youd expect just a little more pep in her step. It feels like it rolls on in slow motion .. Maybe it's just me..
I'm thinking this build had a chip or handheld tuner and when he sold it removed it leaving just a bland tune on it..
Transmission fluid is pretty much full - leak is at the rear tail and it's just wet. Not leaving drops anywhere.. It doesn't smell burnt but it does have just a tad bit toasted smell to it.. Gonna have the mechanics at my plant check that out..
The shifter tube I mentioned earlier is the tube and plunger in the steering colum - it's gone bad.. The bushings are all fugazy.. Gotta drop it all the way to the last gear and back to get into drive and neutral to start.. A common problem for the F250 chassis from what I see on here and the web.
Once again thanks so much to you all .. All I really want is for it to run as good as possible.. Don't get me wrong, if I can make immprovements to haul *** and the cost is reasonable.. Well, of course.. Ha ha ha ha ..
Now that someone confermed it has 4'10's .. It doesn't feel like that at all.. Feels like it has much higher gearing.. Which leads me to believe the trans is frying up.. But it does shift very firmly ..
Especially if you get on it a bit.
Just a thought, but when I had a misfire it was felt mostly on launches and hurt performance off the line more then anywhere else. It didn't really miss much except for when it was under heavy load. Maybe due to the headers and supercharger you're unable to hear a misfire? Bad coil packs are a common issue on these motors. Also, it doesn't throw a code unless it's a constant misfire. Mine didn't throw a code. I was only able to diagnosis it using the live data.
What size are those 18" tires, anything over 31.5" tall will be effectively reducing your gear ratio and killing performance, especially off the line acceleration. Deeper gears are THE single biggest performance mod you can do for a gas powered EX (or SD), possibly including supercharging (depending on boost and tune of course).
I remember posting that one in Clist find of the day thread a while back. I tried calling on it a few times but no answer. I think it was listed at 6500 at the time. Nice looking ride and pretty unique.
I thought I recognized it.
OP welcome to FTE. Awesome Excursion you have there.

Welcome aboard fellow Brooklynite! Nice rig you got there.
I don't really have much else to add to the conversation, most of the people here know more then I do about the Ex. But it does sound like a tuning/transmission issue to me. I think even with a supercharged 5.4, it's still going to be sluggish off the line, remember, the Ex is heavy.
Hey man - thanks !
Yeah, I know she's a monster .,
It's not as bad as I'm making it out to be ., but there's just something missing...
As per the man above it might very well be the size of the tire/rim combo.,
My guys at the yard check the trans fluid today.. Clean and not burnt.. What I smelled was just normal heat wear on the fluid ..
Where in Bklyn' are ya? I'm in Bensonhurst right off 86th by the Vegas Diner.

Thanks !!!
I'm starting to fall in love with it even with all the minor issues she has..
Found an exhaust leak in the passenger side today.., headers are rusty so might throw in some stainless .. And do the entire exhaust with a flowmaster..
I ran that tire size (different manufacturer but same size), which shows 34.6" tall, through an online tire size gear ratio calculator 4Lo.com :: Tire Size Change, New Gear Ratio Calculator and vs the stock tire size of 31.5" and your assumed 4.10 gear ratio it calculates an effective 3.73 ratio. That is the most common ratio for the V-10 EXs and is not a good choice for any kind of performance. My rig originally had 3.73 gears and when I swapped in my 4.88s it turned the EX into a completely different truck, way better performance and towing ability, like a locomotive in comparison! Now with my 35.28" tires and those 4.88 gears the effective ratio is at 4.39 and that is still a huge improvement over stock. The V-10 had a factory option to get 4.30 gears and it is fairly rare to find one with them but those deeper gears really improve off the line acceleration and make towing heavy much easier. As a matter of fact my towing mileage was improved by approx. 25% with the deeper gears along with much improved hill climbing.
