I have a couple questions but to start it off I have a motor out of a 1969 thunderbird 429 converted into 460 and rebuilt by PAR Racing. It's going into a 1978 F150 Custom. (Owner before me converted truck from NP435 to C6 and did poor job but I'm trying to straighten it back out)
1. Is it worth buying the L&L 460 Pressure plate, clutch, flywheel? Money is not an issue with buying this so it being more expensive than going with 390 flywheel and different starter tooth count.
2. Will I need a 302 pilot bearing to correct the NP435 from messing up the 460 crank?
3. Does the output shaft on the NP435 require the 8 3/8 extension or can I use the one connecting my C6 to 205 which I believe is 5 3/8. I figured the 8 3/8 because i wouldn't have to change driveshafts from my measurements but I may be wrong.
4. Any reasonable price place to get headers coated inside and out for 460?
5. Any other concerns that you think I should know, please don't be afraid to tell me.
