Edge insight CTS2

I want to add Engine oil temp and fuel pressure gauges..
I already have EGT , BOOST and TRANS in mechanical gauges..

I see I would also be able to add another EGT gauge with the CTS2..

Anybody using 1 of these or know about them ?

Kyle

Am using the CTS in my IDI rig. Will install one (now CTS2) soon in the 250. Reason for going with the CTS2 in the 250 (as opposed to other products) is that I have AutoEngenuity, so I do not need the Edge for deeper diagnostics.

Basically, the Edge can natively see what the computer sees by a OBD-II port connection. For items that the PCM does not measure, there are add-on expansion sensors (EGT, fluid temp, pressure etc). Last I checked, it would *not* do buzz tests. A nice bonus to the CTS2 is that it natively can handle a backup-camera.

One thing I learned about the expansion sensors was that (at the time) the manual was not explicit on how to get the head unit to read the expansion sensor and had to call to ask. Result was that I had to hook the head-unit up to the computer running Edge's software, define that sensor in the software (as it talked to the head unit via USB), then take the head unit back out to the truck.

The CTS is highly flexible and can display 10 PID's at once (digital only) or do a blend of digital / analog with fewer PID's. From what I understand, the CTS2 does the same.

One of the features I like in the Edge is the ability (when off road) to use it for pitch and roll indicators.
