engine mounts

Hello to all,
Well I have finally gotten around to putting a new motor in my 53 f250 flatbed truck. I am taking out the old worn out flathead and putting in a new motor and trans. My question. Do you guys know the best place to get crossmember type mounts > I know there are a few rod places around that sell them but just wondering who has the best price>
Thanks
BIll

Check out the Parts Shop/ Motorhaven here on FTE 1st. If that's a bust, try:
www.f100.com
www.bobsf100.com
www.classictruckshop.com
www.f100connection.com

Good Luck,

C.P.P. (Classic Performance Products) has the engine cross member, trans cross member & the rubber mounts for $100. for the package. See ad in October 2003 of Custom Classic Truck magazine.

I don't know what motor and trans your planning on putting in but I have a 302 in my 54 f100, Vintage Ford wanted $60.00 for the pair of motor mounts and I just changed both of mine and paid only $26.00 for the same pair at Napa auto parts.

Bob

Do you mean the whole entire mount or just the pads? If it's the whole mount, is it bolt in or weld in? Exactly where did you mount it? How far from what? What measurements?

Inquiring minds and all that

Thanks

Steve

Big Hands, I'm only talking about the pads not the cross member.

Ok everyone,
I purchased the crossmember, trans crossmember, all mounting pads from CPP in California. The total package was only 100.
Not a bad deal,
See ya
