If you're still using the stock radio, you gotta get a radio. They are a huge upgrade. And as long as you're not modifying your fuel delivery, egt's are rarely an issue. I would get an exhaust and not worry about it.
I got my radio for 160 bucks. Touch screen, bluetooth, hands free phone, dvd, backup cam, pandora, amazon music, etc. And I think a mbrp exhaust is 230 or so, last time I looked online. Still under 400 for both.
Yea I got a kenwood, I need to look up the model if you want the model number. There was also a jensen and a pioneer in that price range when I was looking.
As long as you're not looking for a nav unit, most brands should be under 200 bucks. The price jumps way up if you want navigation, but I use google maps on my phone anyway. I got mine last year during black friday. I wish I would have upgraded sooner, I didn't realize everything these new radios could do with the backup camera, internet radio, satelite radio, can even watch a movie if you want to.
I did have to cut the 3/4 hose from the heater core. After putting the Tee and new blue 3/4 hose in the heater core hose was too long causing it to kink and lay on an injector plug. A quick snip to shorten it up and all is good.

I think I trimmed just the radiator side of the line back to the degas, on that side of the Tee -- don't recall having to do anything on the heater line other than add some anti-chafing due to where one of the clamps ended up sitting...
