Help!! Can't find where bracket belongs.



These brackests beling on a 04 6.0l . Was wondering if anyone migjt know where they went in the motor. Was thinking they went to the radiator or intercooler, but just cant figure it out. Thanks for your help.

Those look like FICM mounting brackets to me

Kind of look like FICM brackets

They are FICM brackets. The one in your hand is the front one. The stud next to your finger is for the EBP brace. You are also missing a bolt/stud in that one where the FICM mounts.

Those are your FICM mounting brackets. The one in your hand is your REAR bottom portion of the mounting bracket. The other one is the FRONT lower portion of the FICM mounting bracket. You will need the top pieces as well to complete the set. The front FICM mounting also uses another piece that ties it into the air inlet, while the rear uses another with two 8mm head bolts to fasten it together.

Right on!!!

Yup, turned out it was the FICM brackets. Got stuck with a big box of misc. parts after taking to the dealership to finger out why it killed itself just idling n my yard. Anyway, $4,500 later and still playing where the **** does this part go, should have her all buttoned up sometime this week. I appreciate the help fellas.

What the heck. Brackets still look good. Why would the dealer replace these if there's no reason to, except to make more money.
Just doesn't make sense. What else was in that bucket of parts? 8 old injectors?
