Hey all. I have recently purchased 95' F150 4x4. Neither door can be opened from the inside. I have managed to get the latch, lock selonoid and handle assembly out of the door. I drilled out the rivet for the lock actuator bracket in order to free it from the door. At this time I think the issue may be the latch that is the cause of my troubles. I'm still troubleshooting though. My question is when the time comes to reinstall the lock actuator bracket. Can I use a small bolt in place of the rivet that I drilled out? It seems to me that getting a bolt in there is going to be a real pain. Any advice is appreciated.
Maybe if you had small hands, but even then I would think it would be difficult. I just put a rivet back in, took only a minute, way easier then fumbling around with a bolt.

That's what I did before I put a rivet in. Used a small bolt with lock washer and nut and the head of the bolt went on the inside of the door. When it was snugged up I just used a grinder to zip off thebolt sticking out past the nut. Doesn't hit the door jam at all.
