Door Lock Issues - HELP!
My 1998 Mountaineer drivers side door locks by remote, door buttom, and keypad although it does not unlock. I have to physically force the door lock out to get the door to unlock.
What causes this?

Mounty, my 98 Mountaineer had similar problems.If you will look on the inside edge of the door, just below the latch there should be a rivet. This holds the lock actuator inside the door. The rivet had broken loose on mine and the actuator wasnt working properly. I took the door panel off and replaced rivet with a small bolt with a nut on the inside.
