Anybody order the new grill for these trucks from Dennis Carpenter? I was just wondering how the quality is. Do they have the 69 or the 68 style center bar? I can't tell from the picture in Hemmings.

 

I didn't know the 69 grill was available yet.

 

I've been in constant contact with Dennis Carpenter for the past three years, as of last month these grilles are NOT available. I will call tomorrow and speak with my contact and post what I hear.

 

I'm surprised that they have a huge advertisement for them in Hemmings this month. Part # C9TZ-8200-A $750

 

does not come up in their part# search on the website.

 

I just called them. They have 61 of them in stock. They haven't added it to their system yet.

 

According to my source, The grilles, 61 of them are expected in this week.
I should be expecting mine by early next week. There will be 60 available to the public by next week. I do not know if they are taking orders for them at this time.

 

I just ordered it and it is on the way! Yahooo! I'll let you know how it looks.

 

How was there shipping fees?

 

$14.99. So the total was $764.99.

 

Not bad at all for a new grill.

 

REPO grill , I've dealt with alot of Mustang repo stuff Alot of it is just Horrible !
please keep us informed of fit and finish .

As for the repo comment, Carpenter uses a lot of Ford tooling to make their products. The parts I have bought have fantastic fit and finish.
